Mona Lisa, Mona Lisa

Artist assistants stand next to 3,604 cups of coffee which have been made into a giant Mona Lisa in Sydney, Australia . The 3,604 cups of coffee were each filled with different amounts of milk to create the different shades! Those Aussies sure do know how to have fun (as I know from personal experience.)

Another fun-loving, art-loving, puzzle-loving person is Shouts from the Abyss (despite his grim name), who posts some of his pixel puzzles.  To find them, click on pixels in his tags on his blog (on my blogroll).  Here’s one of his puzzles. They get harder, but I thought I’d start you out easy.

Thats a pretty amazing piece of art. How bad would it be to trip.

  2. Boy Mona Lisa is popular these days. First it’s sheep with lights that make her image, and then it’s coffee! Go figure.

I’d like to see those sheep! Mona Lisa is a popular woman, isn’t she? Also, there’s no fear of copyright infringement, unless the Louvre wants to take some royalties. Maybe, in this case, a few cups of coffee, no cream. Cathy

Okay, I thought the image was cool. But coffee? I’m afraid this represents my average caffeine consumption during the school year.

  4. This is just incredible! Who would have thought of such an idea, and actually do it? Just hope it won’t rain, or Mona Lisa will pale in comparison.
