Bark at the Park Registration at Kauffman Stadium for the Kansas City Royals game against the Seattle Mariners on June 22, 2014.
Balls and dogs definitely go together.
At Bark at the Park, scores of dogs and their people had a great time at Kaufman Stadium on July 22, 2014 at the Kansas City Royals-Seattle Mariners baseball game.

At the event in Kansas City, Missouri, dogs and their people had a special section, pre-game parade, games, wading pools, tickets to seats at the game, vendors and special activities. Part of the ticket price benefited Wayside Waifs, a no-kill animal shelter where I volunteer as a photographer of available cats for the website. (I don’t think we’re going to be seeing any Purr at the Park events.)

oh wow that’s a lotta dogs in one place, I’m actually surprised things didn’t go too bonkers with them all barking at each other š

We don’t take the family dog many places, so she probably would go bonkers, but many dog owners take their dogs everywhere, so the dogs are used to crowds. There are a lot of dog group activities in Kansas City, such as Strutt With Your Mutt, and the dogs are very well-behaved. https://catherinesherman.wordpress.com/2010/09/30/strutt-with-your-mutt-2/

What a fun event. I think K.C. has some good no kill shelters and does quite a bit for the welfare of these furbabies. I donate to Art Unleashed which is a silent art auction with the proceeds going to the KC Humane Society and it too is a no kill shelter. Yay!!!

Great idea. We have a pooch in the garden event at the desert botanical garden but i think it fits nicely at the baseball game.
