Scenes From Autumn in the Missouri Countryside

Colorful Flint or Indian Corn

My friend Lynn and I took our cameras to a couple of Missouri farms that sell pumpkins, apples and other goods, offer hay rides and let children pet animals. The weather was beautiful, and hopefully we haven’t seen the last of the summer-like days before winter hits.

Cathy, Beautiful pictures! I wish I could have gone with you. You remember that is my old high school great buddy who built that 23 years ago. He is a great story. Love, Nancy

Cathy, We were lucky that it was such a beautiful day. Perfect weather! I haven’t even started looking at my pics yet. I just hope that they’re half as good as yours. Love your comments with each pic. Did you notice that some of the goats didn’t have floppy ears? Can’t remember what breed they were though.

  4. What great photos filled with the rich colors, great compositions and fun subjects Cathy. And, together they give a delightful glimpse into rural life in Missouri that has me thinking it would be a great place to experience myself. Thank you!

  5. All beautiful shots, Cathy! I particularly love the colourful corns, the pumpkin lineups, and the horse. Sure looks like something that we have here in our rural communities, or in our Heritage Park. 😉
