Pranksters have placed UFO stickers on cattle crossing signs on US Highway 68 between Santa Fe and Taos, New Mexico.
My friend and fellow photographer Lynn and I recently returned from a thousand-mile (probably more) photography road trip, starting from Kansas City and making a round trip through New Mexico. I took about 4,000 photos, some great, some lousy, most were fun, especially this one of a UFO sign on a cattle crossing sign on Highway 68 from Santa Fe to Taos.
Pranksters placed the stickers on signs, which officials remove and then more stickers re-appear. Click the link if you want to know the less humorous history behind the stickers… (I don’t recommend it.) Cattle Abductions.

Very interesting, Catherine.! I took a look at the link – quite gruesome, and yet fascinating. I can’t help though, to see humour in the UFO/cattle sign. Still, it does seem quite a mystery.!

This was such a fun trip! and that photo is hilarious. Like you said, we got some great pics, some lousy and some are just fun. Only another photographer would understand the large number of photos taken and could only imagine the number of stops we made. Great trip…ready for another, well after I get all my laundry done.

Oh yes these signs are throughout Taos, Espanola and Albuquerque. I live in Espanola and thought because of the HIGH winds anything is possible seeing it fly through the air, hahaha; however you are correct about the UNKNOWN just because of the laser work! ???? Strange things are known to happen in New Mexico be it spiritual, alien, or whatever???

Catherine, I listened to a podcast on these cattle abductions and mutilations in that area, and it was very weird. There are some sick puppies roaming around that part of the world (maybe the puppies are from another world??). ~James
